What Capital Logic does
Capital Logic helps auto dealers understand dealership money, inventory, sold deals, buy targets, and source proof. The Capital Logic Ledger browser extension adds auction-side Buy Targets and can help capture dealership source-page proof for authorized dealer workflows.
Information we collect
Depending on the workflow a dealer enables, Capital Logic may process account sign-in information, dealership profile information, inventory records, sale and funding records, bank or floorplan proof, auction-page vehicle information, browser page URLs, visible page text, table data, and screenshots from supported dealer source systems.
How the Ledger extension uses data
The Ledger extension runs only on Capital Logic, configured auction sites, and supported dealer source portals listed in the extension manifest. It uses page access to show Buy Targets on auction pages, detect whether the extension is installed, and send selected source proof to Capital Logic or the dealer's local Browser Bridge when a proof workflow requires it. The extension does not sell data, inject ads, or track browsing across unrelated websites.
How we use information
We use information to provide Capital Logic features, reconcile dealer operating truth, display auction Buy Targets, maintain source-proof history, troubleshoot support issues, secure accounts, and improve reliability. We keep source values and computed values distinct so dealers can see what is proven and what needs review.
Sharing
We do not sell personal or dealership data. We share information only with service providers needed to operate Capital Logic, such as hosting, authentication, database, payment, and secure infrastructure providers, or when required by law.
Security and retention
Capital Logic uses protected accounts, role-based access, and limited-purpose source proof handling. We retain dealership records and proof history as needed to provide the service, support audits, and maintain operating history, unless deletion is requested and retention is no longer required.
Your choices
Dealers can uninstall the Ledger extension at any time from the browser extensions page. Dealers may also request help reviewing, exporting, correcting, or deleting account data, subject to operational and legal retention requirements.
Contact
For privacy or support requests, contact the Capital Logic operator who provided your account access, or use the support contact listed in your Capital Logic onboarding materials.
